I get settled in and the adventures continued. Met some camp mates that were amazing to get lost with. They invited me to hang out in the shade on the hot days and took me along on adventures too. I wish I had gotten pictures of everyone but I really tried to stay in the moment as much as possible. These people were the best to have these adventures with though, I couldn’;t have asked for better people to have in a camp. So many people there were so inviting and caring.
Even just walking around the camp, I’d find oddities like these lovely shoe imprints reminding me that there were good people around. I need these shoes in my life.
After it all, I was invited to go to the temple and I wholeheartedly accepted to go to pay our respects and it was amazning. We set out at dusk across the desolate desert towards the temple. It was a perfect time to catch the sun as it was setting. So we geared up and headed out.
